Eze Foundation Supports Year 7 Transition
The Eze Foundation has proudly gifted 196 school bags to the new Year 7 students at John Roan School, helping to make the transition into secondary school a little less daunting. Starting a new school year can be an overwhelming experience, but the Eze Foundation is committed to ensuring that these young students begin their journey with confidence and the tools they need for success. By providing these bags, we aim to alleviate some of the stress and make this exciting new chapter in their education a positive and supportive experience. The foundation is dedicated to empowering youth, and this initiative reflects our belief in creating opportunities and reducing barriers for all students
Message from the school:
The Eze Foundation who are committed to providing career opportunities and inspirational experiences for school children in London have gifted us New Balance rucksacks for Year 7! All Year 7 students have been offered the opportunity to take one today.
I can confirm that 93% of students opted to take a bag and were absolutely elated. This is an amazing gesture that should not go unnoticed! Other Year Groups would have jumped at this opportunity and Year 7 have been very lucky to benefit.
Ikechi, Eberechi and Chima Eze were all students at some point at The John Roan and are doing astonishing things to give back to the community. Please do have a search of their work and I hope you are grateful for the opportunity that your daughter/son had. Their mission is to empower young people within the community of South East London. All are playing football at high levels with Eberechi most notably playing for Crystal Palace and the England national team.
